Nature of the Service

This is a private reference site with no government authority. It stores no official custody, booking, release, or court records and cannot confirm custody, release anyone, or file a request or court document for a visitor.

Its pages point toward DuPage Sheriff records, IDOC resources, court sources, federal and immigration locators, and independent research tools.

Acceptable Use Rules

• Use the site only in compliance with applicable law.
• Do not stalk, threaten, harass, or harm another person.
• Do not use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision.
• Do not seek unauthorized access to the site or connected systems.
• Do not run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools.
• Do not interfere with service or another visitor’s access.

No Consumer Reports

DuPage County Released Inmates is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. It supplies no background check, credit report, or consumer report, and neither it nor its advertising partners provides screening services. Users agree not to apply site content or linked results to an FCRA-covered purpose.

This site is not responsible for outside content, data handling, pricing, terms, or uptime. Review the destination’s rules before use.

No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free from errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will be comprehensive.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the DuPage Sheriff, IDOC, a court, or another government office.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

User Indemnification

Ownership of Content

Text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to DuPage County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, republished, or commercially exploited without written permission or another lawful basis.

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May End

Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice.

Illinois Law Applies

These terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Illinois. Illinois public-record access is governed in part by the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, but that law applies to public bodies, not this private site.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
