Terms & Conditions

Use of DuPage County Released Inmates means acceptance of these terms. If you do not agree with every provision, do not use the site or its linked tools.

This privately owned site is not affiliated with DuPage County, a government body, sheriff, jail, court, or corrections department. It helps visitors locate DuPage County and Illinois inmate and jail-record resources. Neither the site nor its advertising partners offers FCRA-covered credit, employment, insurance, or tenant-screening services. It is not a private investigation firm or consumer reporting agency.

External Resources

Links may lead to release records, Sheriff and corrections sites, government portals, legal-aid resources, or outside search services. A link does not endorse the destination. This site is not responsible for outside content, data handling, pricing, terms, or uptime. Review the destination’s rules before use.

No Warranties

The site and its content are supplied “as is” and “as available.” No warranty is made that information is accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted, free from errors or security flaws, or that a partner search will be comprehensive.

Custody status and public records can change quickly. Nothing here is an official statement from the DuPage Sheriff, IDOC, a court, or another government office.

Liability Limits

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site and its operators will not be liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or other damages arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of a linked service.

User Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold the site and its operators harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees caused by your use of the service, misuse of information, or violation of these terms.

Ownership of Content

Text, graphics, logos, design elements, and code belong to DuPage County Released Inmates or the applicable content partner. They may not be copied, distributed, modified, republished, or commercially exploited without written permission or another lawful basis.

Changes to the Terms

These terms may be revised at any time. A new version takes effect when it is posted. Continued use after posting means acceptance of the revised terms.

Access May End

Access may be restricted, suspended, or terminated at any time, for any lawful reason, and without advance notice.

Illinois Law Applies

These terms are governed by Illinois law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute must be filed in a court with proper jurisdiction in Illinois. Illinois public-record access is governed in part by the Illinois Freedom of Information Act, 5 ILCS 140, but that law applies to public bodies, not this private site.

Severability

If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect. The affected provision will be limited or adjusted only as much as needed to make it enforceable.
